Online video converter

Since I was playing with getting video on the site, I was checking out online video sites, and ran across this: http://heywatch.com

It’s online, it’s free for the basic, low volume account, and can convert most anything to almost anything in a few clicks. You can even make a custom target, if you want to upgrade to the paid version.

I used this to whack some videos into a format my Nokia E61 could read. It was fast, and easy, and for sucking videos off the web, it’s really slick. I’d just been using Quicktime Pro, which works fine once you’ve figured out the specific size, frame rate, etc.

The API’s they’re working on could be exciting, suck video down to your device of choice in any format you want on the fly. Cool.
