Fantastic Four First Steps

I’ll start with, it was a lot better than I expected. But, it’s Yet Another Super Hero Movie. So expect endless CGI, paper thin plots, battling against unwinnable odds. The standards stuff.

This does have the general plot of the actual comics. Galactus is gonna devour earth, the Fantastic Four are gonna have something to say about that. And, conveniently, no other super heros exist in this scenario, so they’re all we’ve got.

But, it was surprisingly not terrible. I was generally entertained, and I loved the mid-century modern Jetsons-like aesthetic of everything. Color pallet was fun, and made it a bit unique.
